General Policies 

Concessions 

The Long Center is equipped with snack and specialty bars including some which serve espresso and martinis.  Concession areas are typically open 1-1.5 hours prior to performance start time and remain open throughout intermission.  All interior bars accept cash and all major credit/debit cards.  Please be aware that the Long Center does not currently have an ATM.

Don’t waste your valuable time waiting in line during intermission.  Place your order for drinks, snacks and desserts at any bar before the event begins.  At intermission, your order will be waiting for you!

Late Seating/Re-seating policies                                                                                                        

Please ARRIVE EARLY.  Guests arriving late will be seated by a Long Center staff member or Volunteer Usher in accordance with the policy mandated by the touring production, artist or resident company.  Latecomers may view the performance on monitors located in the lobby.  Each touring company/artist performing at the Long Center sets its own late seating policy for both guests arriving late and those who step out of the hall during a performance. To avoid problems with a late seating policy, arrive early so you may attend to your comfort needs and be in your seat before curtain time. If you have questions about the late seating policy, please ask any Volunteer Usher or staff member.

ATM 

Please be aware that the Long Center does not currently have an ATM.  The Box Office and all interior concession points accept all major credit cards.

Cameras & Recording Devices 

We understand that many of your visits to the Long Center may be in celebration of a special occasion and that you may want to document the event.  The view of downtown Austin from our City Terrace makes a wonderful photographic opportunity. However, due to copyright laws and in consideration of the performers, the use of photographic or recording devices inside the theatre is generally strictly prohibited.  Each touring company sets its own policies, occasionally allowing photography, so please check with the House manager or a Ticket Services representative before bringing your camera.

Volunteer Opportunities
